Hi,
Is there any news on this, I hve a Blackberry Pearl on O2 in the UK and am getting the Error Code: -2 problem.
Email and Internet are working fine on the device.

To help us identify the problem, can you tell who is your provider (your company, T-Mobile, Cingular, etc.)?

I am running NewsCopier 1.0.2 on a Pearl. I am getting the "Failed to download the channel, Error code: -2" error. This issue is described in: http://www.maximumsoft.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=461&am p;PN=1I believe that I have data services activated as I use the device to provse the web and email. I am not using the Enterprise functions. I'm looking forward to using this software. Thank you, n

We have implemented the workaround that helps to avoid the channel selection problem on BlackBerry Pearl.
You can download the new NewsCopier version 1.0.2 using this link

Please be aware that on Pearl device when you selecting the channels you need to do the following to close the selection window:
- after you selected all channels you need, use the trackball and move the cursor from check boxes and to a text line (like Category header)
- press the trackball
- choose “Done” and press the trackball again

Our developers are looking for a workaround that will allow to avoid the problem before RIM will release a fix.

We’ve found that this is BlackBerry Pearl device problem.
Here is a response we have received from RIM (the company that makes BlackBerry devices):
"This issue is a known issue which has been logged for resolution within a future software release. Unfortunately, there is no workaround to this issue."

I am having problems selecting channels with my blackberry pearl. When I get the page to select the channels and I use the trackball it only allows me access to the first selection in each category and then jumps to the next category. I cannot select channels in the middle of the categories. Any suggestions?
