Creating New Channels

• Select from a list of known Channels.
  
  
  To select a channel, please check its box.
  
  All channels are grouped in categories. You can check the box for the category to choose all related channels.
  
  You may choose as many channels as you'd like. When you tap the Finish button, all the channels that are checked are added to your list of channels. If a channel is listed under a category, the channel will be added to that category in your list. If the channel is not under a category, it will be added to the category you currently have selected in your list.
  
  If you use this option again, the channels you already created won't be shown on the list.



• Enter a Channel URL.
  
  
  If you know the complete URL for a channel, you can enter it directly.
  
  You can also enter a name for the channel or you can use the Retrieve Title button to download the channel data and enter the name directly from the channel. When you tap the Retrieve Title button, NewsCopier will connect to the Internet and attempt to download the channel data using the URL you have entered. The channel's name will be entered if it is found, but if the download is not successful default name will be used.
  
  When you tap the Finish button, the channel will be added to your list of channels. If you currently have a category selected, the channel will be added to that category.



• Import Channels.
  
  
  You may import channels from a file on your Smartphone. The file must be in .opml format, which is a popular format for exporting and importing channel information. For example, you can export channel information from an application on your Windows PC and copy the file to your Smartphone for importing.
  
  Choose this option to import from a file on you Smartphone. The file must be in the My Documents folder or on a storage card. When you tap the Next button, NewsCopier will show you a list of .opml files on your Smartphone to choose from.
  
  After you have chosen a file, you will see the list of channels found in the file. Select channels you are interested in and tap the Finish button.
